The rationale behind this project is that I also wanted to explore an analog view of what the world may look like from someone else’s perspective. I was inspired by the common saying that many photographers like to say, “Let me show you the world from my lens.” Simply put, my work is a response to that phrase.

Week 1 is over, and all I can say is that I’m still in disbelief that I’m here, for one month, living abroad. The last time I did this was nearly two years ago. Now that I’m in post-grad, I'm ever-so-slightly finding it hard to get back into the work hard

Well, I arrived to France today, making it day 0! I am writing this as I am wrapping up my all-nighter to fight off the jet-lag (per Professor Teo’s instructions).

The heart's been feeling a little heavy lately, so in an effort to lighten things up, I want to draw my attention to something I really enjoy doing: listening to music.

I sometimes like to think that listening to a song somewhere in the background makes my life seem like a movie. Or, I remember certain moments of my life based on the music I am listening to. 

I really care about personal style, but it's taken me forever to accept and understand it.

It took a long time to embrace because I feared that caring for my style implied I was vain, and that I wasn't really focusing on more important things like my future career or long-term goals.

Talking to my friends in person takes less time. Why does something so instant and easily accessible require so much thought and concern?

It's been one year since I launched this blog, and I would have to admit that it's been a mess in terms of trying to get things uploaded and prepped to share with the world.

Some people love to celebrate their birthdays and have mastered the art of rallying their pals & family together for a good time. I, on the other hand, am usually at a strange loss for creativity when it comes to dealing with my own big day. 

In my Uberpool ride this morning, I had the chance to sit in a conversation with a student athlete  and driver who had known each other since many years before.
